The water and power pedestal is an outdoor device that provides water and electricity for RVs, conveniently located next to the campsite pitch for easy access. The pedestal is equipped with basic waterproof outlets and frost-proof faucets, while the power cords and water hoses need to be supplied by the user. Some advanced water and power pedestals also come with additional features like lighting and internet access.

How to Use the Water and Power Pedestal?

1.Confirm the Charging Method: Some campsites have proper management, allowing users to access the water and power pedestal for free after paying the pitch fee, with no extra activation required. However, some campsites (mainly micro campsites) adopt a self-service payment system, where users may need to scan a code or perform other actions to activate the water and power pedestal for use.

2.How to Charge: Retrieve the RV-specific charging cable and adapter (usually located in the storage compartment at the rear of the RV) and connect the RV to the water and power pedestal. If the charging is successful, the charging indicator light will illuminate on the touch screen inverter panel, and the city power plug icon will light up in the lower right corner of the inverter panel.
Reminder: High-power devices like air conditioning must only be used after connecting to the mains power through the water and power pedestal.

3.How to Fill Water: The gravity water fill port of the Dometic RV is locked for safety reasons and requires the key provided with the RV to open it. First, insert the water filling hose about 20 centimeters into the port, then turn on the external faucet. Once the water tank is full, water will overflow from the overflow port of the fresh water tank. After filling, turn off the faucet and remove the hose.

Reminder: To avoid contamination of the fresh water tank, make sure to dry the filling hose after each use to prevent any residual water, ensuring it is ready for the next filling.
